Privacy notice

This Privacy Notice sets out how I collect, use, store and look after the personal data we collect from you. I will take reasonable care to keep your information secure and to prevent any unauthorised access.   Personal data means any information about an individual from which that individual can be identified. 

You may give me your personal data by corresponding with me by post, phone, email, in person, or via social media. The personal data I collect from you may include your name and contact information, such as email address, phone number(s) and postal address. 

To respond to your enquiry, provide a quote, and to return your repair.  I may also publish comments on my website that you have posted on social media (facebook) or  index, following the repair of the ceramics. 

The lawful basis for processing the personal data is that I may have a contractual obligation to you to provide the services that you have entered with me for the repair of your ceramics, and/or I have a legitimate interest to ensure my business runs efficiently and as I see fit (such as responding to queries/providing quotes). 

Your personal details are kept in a hard copy diary, which is destroyed 24 months from the end of the calendar year. 

You may send me photographs of your damaged ceramics, and I may publish photographs of the damaged and repaired ceramics on my website, but this will not identify you unless you give consent.  Any photograph can be removed from my website on request.

Your comment is only published (and associated with you) on my website with your consent. However, I may anonymise the comment so that it can no longer be associated with your full name and the town where you live. In which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you. Comments can be removed from the website on the request.

If you have posted anything on my Facebook page, please consult Facebook for their privacy policy.

I am listed on freeindex.co.uk - a business information resource. If you have posted anything on freeindex.co.uk  please consult them for their privacy policy.

You have the right to request access to your personal data, request rectification of the personal data that I hold about you, and request erasure of your personal data where there is no good reason for me continuing to process it.   If you have any queries about this Privacy Policy, wish to access, update or remove your personal data, please contact Hugo by email restoration@freeuk.com

I may update this Privacy Notice from time to time and will inform you (via our website) to any changes in how we handle personal data.
